The Annual Joint Replacement Reunion brings patients together for a special day.
January 21, 2011 - 11th Annual Expedition: JRC Reunion
Thousands of patients have undergone hip and knee replacements at Florida Hospital Celebration Health to restore full motion in their joints, improve mobility, and eliminate pain, so they can continue living active lifestyles. Now, many of these current and former patients are traveling back to Celebration to participate in the Expedition: Joint Replacement Center Reunion, the 11th annual event brings patients together who have experienced similar journeys with joint replacement surgery and rehabilitation.
The event will begin at 11am with a one-mile walk-a-thon to benefit Operation Walk, a not-for-profit, volunteer medical services organization which provides free surgical treatment for patients in developing countries and occasionally in the US, who have no access to life-improving care for arthritis or other debilitating bone and joint conditions. The walk will be followed by lunch and an awards ceremony. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn about the unique services at the Joint Replacement Center and speak to patients about their trek through joint replacement recovery. Pack your bags, bring your camera and join us for a one-of-a-kind expedition!
